Industrial Concrete Expert

As an Industrial Concrete Expert at Cemvision, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing research collaborations, primarily within industrial settings and, to a lesser extent, academic institutions. You will conduct -technical validations and field trials, ensuring accurate and credible data, and collaborate closely with our R&D teams to translate research findings into practical product solutions. Your insights and expertise will contribute directly to enhancing product performance, durability, and sustainability.

This role requires a strong understanding of cement hydration with its impact on concrete properties -, concrete material behavior, and industrial research methodologies. Reporting to the CTO, you will be a key member of our growing team, driving our mission forward.

• Lead and manage industrial research collaborations and academic partnerships.
• Conduct validation and field trials of Cemvision’s products with a focus on scientific rigor and industrial feasibility.
• Collaborate with R&D teams to translate research outcomes into practical applications.
• Support grant applications and contribute to academic project proposals.
• Represent Cemvision at industry and academic forums through presentations, publications, and conferences.
• Drive internal research initiatives to enhance product performance, durability, and sustainability.

We also think you have the following:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial research projects related to cement and concrete.
• MSc or PhD in Civil Engineering, Materials Science, Concrete Technology, or a related field.
• Expertise in cement - hydration processes, and concrete material behavior.
• Proficiency in laboratory testing methods for concrete durability, strength, and performance.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex research findings effectively.
• Familiarity with grant-funded projects and academic publishing.
• Passion for sustainability and green technologies.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.
• Proficiency in English is required, and knowledge of Swedish or other European languages is a plus.
